Getting started

How to set up Accorded

Install the browser extension, connect it to your Accorded account, and start with one important LinkedIn contact. You will need the email address associated with your account and your Accorded license key.

01 · Install

Install the Accorded extension

Open the extension store for your browser and find Accorded : the Comms Whisperer. Select Add to Chrome, or the equivalent button for your browser, to begin.

  • Use the browser extension store rather than an unofficial download.
  • Accorded is designed for user-initiated workflows on supported LinkedIn pages.

02 · Permissions

Confirm the browser permissions

Your browser will show the permissions Accorded needs. Review them, then select Add extension to complete the installation.

  • If you select Cancel, the extension will not finish installing.
  • You can review or manage extension permissions through your browser settings.

03 · Extension

Open the extension and request your key

Select the Accorded icon in your browser toolbar. If it is not visible, open the browser extensions menu and pin it. Enter the email address associated with your Accorded account.

  • Select Email my license key if you need the key to be sent again.
  • Check your inbox, including your junk or spam folder.

04 · Settings

Open extension settings

From the extension popup, click the gears icon at the top left. This opens the Accorded extension settings where you can enter your account details.

  • The gears icon is the small settings button in the top-left corner of the popup.
  • You do not need to find or enter a backend address for the released extension.

05 · Connect

Enter your email address and license key

Enter the same email address used for your Accorded account, then paste the license key from your email.

  • Select Save to store the settings.
  • Select Test connection to check that the extension is connected.
  • A successful test means the extension is ready to use with your account.

06 · Begin

Start using Accorded

Open a supported LinkedIn profile, open the Accorded extension, and start a profile assessment. Save the contact when you want to return to the result and build useful context over time.

  • Review the assessment and confidence information before acting on it.
  • Continue in the Communicate workspace to add Communication Context and use Contact Chat.
  • Keep responsibility for reviewing and choosing the final communication.
