Accorded Privacy Policy
This explains the information Accorded may use and how it may be handled. Expand the sections below for the key points.
Information Accorded may collect
Depending on how the service is used, Accorded may collect account details, support information, website and extension usage information, LinkedIn and professional information accessed by an authorised user, messages, transcripts, drafts, chat questions, assessment information, saved contacts, and marketing campaign information.
How information may be used
Information may be used to provide and improve Accorded, assess professional and written communication patterns, translate and help draft messages, maintain saved contacts and communication history, support authorised teams, generate reports, provide administrator marketing workflows, support users, secure the service, and improve help content.
LinkedIn and professional information
Accorded may use LinkedIn profile information, posts, comments, role history, and other public professional language where an authorised user starts a profile assessment workflow. The browser extension is not intended to collect unrelated browsing activity.
Ask Accorded questions
A question submitted through the website may be sent to a configured AI service provider so Accorded can construct an answer using its approved FAQ, features, privacy, and terms content. Questions may be stored with the time submitted, source content, answer status, and content version to improve help information. Please do not include confidential, credential, sensitive, or private third-party information.
AI service providers
Configured third-party AI providers may process information needed for assessments, communication assistance, drafting, or website question answering. Provider terms, privacy practices, processing locations, and retention practices also apply.
Team workspaces and marketing
Authorised team members may see saved contacts, assessments, and communication context. Administrator marketing features may process imported contact details, campaign information, delivery status, and Sender.net subscriber status. Users and administrators must only provide information they are authorised to use.
Referral invitations
A customer may voluntarily submit a referee's name, optional company name, and email address in the Customer Hub Referral Link section. Accorded retains these details as a referral-invitation record for referral administration and future follow-up. Invite by email sends the supplied email address and invitation content through the configured email provider. Invite by link stores the submitted details but does not send an email, then displays the referral URL for the customer to share. Referral details are protected by customer access controls, are not public, and are not used as contact-assessment content, Contact Chat context, or general marketing content unless separately authorised. Users should only submit details they are permitted to share; an unexpected referee can ignore the invitation. Existing retention, deletion, processor, and privacy-request processes apply.
Retention and user choices
Accorded retains information as reasonably necessary for service delivery, assessment and delivery records, legal obligations, security, business needs, and user requests. Depending on location, users may request access, correction, deletion, download, restriction, or objection to certain processing by contacting Accorded.
AI limitations
AI-generated answers and assessments may be incomplete or incorrect. Published Accorded pages, this Privacy Policy, and the formal Terms and Conditions take precedence over an AI-generated response.
